There are caring individuals within the health care system.

However, the system as a whole does not consistently and cohesively invest in early detection of moderate to high risk substance use, health care does not consistently and cohesively ensure that those needing services receive those services, and health care does not provide long-term follow-up care to those with addiction who will be managing it for the rest of their lives.

Second Column

CKF Addiction Treatment has provided addiction health care as a non-profit since opening in 1967. If you would like to make a one time donation, you can do so from our website. Three Column 1

This program is presented to comply with Kansas DUI Law which requires attendance at an alcohol / drug information program, and for those whose offense calls for 48 hours of incarceration. During SWIP there are no bars on the windows or doors, but nonetheless, this is jail.

Second Column

Participants in SWIP check in for 48 hours, beginning Friday evening at 6:00 pm and ending Sunday evening at 6:00 pm. SWIP is held at Kansas Regional Training Center, 2930 Scanlan Avenue, Salina, Kansas.

Third Column

Check-in occurs in the lobby of the Nickell Hall, Kansas Regional Training Center – National Guard. Staff will meet you and direct you to the appropriate place.

Four Column 1

Alcohol and Other Drug Information School is held at CKF Addiction Treatment on the second Saturday of every month in Salina and the fourth Saturday of every month in McPherson.

Second Column

Registration opens at 8:00am and the school begins promptly at 8:30am. No one will be admitted after 8:30am.

Third Column

There is a one-hour lunch break from Noon to 1:00pm. Participants are on their own for lunch. Lunch is not provided.

Fourth Column

This is an eight (8) hour program ending at 5:30pm. Participants are responsible for their own transportation to and from the program.
