All of our treatment programs use a therapeutic combination of proven treatment approaches including 12-Step Recovery, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, and Readiness for Change. The following are programs offered at CKF Addiction Treatment on an outpatient basis. Your treatment program is based off of your specific needs and determined by you and a licensed counselor.

Our staff will walk the patient or their family members through a series of questions designed to assess the extent of the substance abuse. This process is confidential and helps CFK establish a baseline for the patient.

Once an initial consultation is complete, our staff and doctors will work with the patient to determine any additional factors contributing to substance abuse including mental and physical health. This evaluation will help determine the course of treatment.

Individual Counseling Sessions

These counseling sessions provide the patient with an individualized approach to treatment. Some counseling methods include, behavioral therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and other treatments to help the person living with addiction evaluate behavior, examine triggers and develop strategies to cope without using drugs or alcohol.

Group Counseling Sessions

Group therapy can be a successful approach to overall substance abuse treatment. Group therapy will have a trained leader conducting each session and unlike family therapy, members of the group don’t know one another. Group therapy sessions can be conducted in varied therapeutic settings and levels of care. Group therapy provides motivation and peer support to the patient.

Peer Mentoring

Peer mentoring is most easily recognized in 12-step programs such as Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous. In these peer relationships, support is provided by those in recovery who are maintaining sobriety, offering motivation, support and tactics for avoiding substance abuse.

ACHESS Phone Application

ACHESS is an addiction recovery support available on demand through a mobile device. Peer support is an important part of a successful recovery and through ACHESS, patients can access counselors and peers to provide them support as needed.

This evidence-based application allows the patient to utilize a variety of relapse prevention and recovery support tools (i.e. surveys, discussions, podcasts, journaling, music, meditation, and on-demand 12-step meetings) whenever they need. ACHESS also provides 24-hour crisis interventions by utilizing the Beacon button, connecting patients to a licensed counselor at the touch of a button 24 hours a day/7 days a week. The ACHESS application can be personalized to meet the needs of each specific patient by allowing each patient to upload family pictures, personal motivators, goals, and high risk locations to their profile.

This innovative app is another way to help those in recovery stay on the road to sobriety.
