Mission & Vision
CKF Addiction Treatment understands that addiction is a chronic disease that requires chronic disease management.
Mission | Values
We have been providing addiction health care since 1967 and are continuously focusing on innovating our care delivery to match the needs of our patients.
Though addiction can be challenging and confusing for those who have an addiction, there are care pathways available for you. CKF Addiction Treatment is here to make sure you are not alone on your journey to a better tomorrow.
Mission
To continuously challenge our systems of care, so that addiction is treated, in all its forms, as a chronic disease.
Vision
A world where every individual suffering from addiction gets better through better access, better treatment, and better support and understanding.
Building a World of Help, Hope, & Healing
CKF Addiction Treatment believes in a world where every individual suffering from addiction gets better.
We have not accomplished what we set out to do until all of those with addiction are understood as humans suffering from a chronic disease who deserve compassion from society and quality care from the health care system.
Opportunities
For Everyone
We will work toward finding opportunities to change the system of care by aligning with the health care system and making changes from within.
CKF Addiction Treatment is, and will continue, fighting for individuals with addiction, who deserve these changes in the health care system the most – and are suffering and fighting for their lives.
Understanding Addiction
We have not accomplished what we set out to do until all of those with addiction are understood as humans suffering from a chronic disease who deserve compassion from society and quality care from the health care system.
Created to Support those Suffering from Addiction
CKF Addiction Treatment was founded in 1967 to provide a service that was not yet available in the community and was lacking across the state. We have done great things since then as an agency to connect with individuals who seek our services. However, those with addiction largely continue to be shunned by society and die invisibly all around us every day.
The System
There are caring individuals within the health care system.
However, the system as a whole does not consistently and cohesively invest in early detection of moderate to high risk substance use, health care does not consistently and cohesively ensure that those needing services receive those services, and health care does not provide long-term follow-up care to those with addiction who will be managing it for the rest of their lives.
We are here to make your first step towards recovery a little bit easier
