At CKF Addiction Treatment, Peer Mentors are an essential part of our treatment team. They work alongside our clinicians to provide high-quality addiction health care services to patients with substance use disorder(s).
Easy first steps for your recovery journey
- Reach out to CKF. Whether you call, email us, or use our Help Now tool, getting in touch with us has never been easier! You can access the Pathfinder Recovery Center by calling (785) 825-6224 or by reaching out through our Help Now portal.
- Schedule an individual session with one of our Kansas Certified Peer Mentors (KCPM) or access our drop-in services in person to connect immediately with a recovery coach in our Salina location Monday-Friday from 8 AM to 8 PM. You can also access the peer mentor team through our virtual options!
- Attend your first session at our Salina office location or through our virtual options. All Pathfinder Recovery Center services can be accessed for free!

Our peer mentor team can assist with identifying individualized recovery goals and addressing social determinants of health. We work specifically with you to improve access to housing, food, education, job training, transportation and more.

We have been providing addiction health care since 1967 and are continuously focusing on innovating our care delivery to match the needs of our patients. Though addiction can be challenging and confusing for those who have an addiction, there are care pathways available for you. CKF Addiction Treatment is here to make sure you are not alone on your journey to a better tomorrow.
What is a peer mentor?
A peer mentor is an individual who has experienced recovery firsthand. They are champions of the recovery process, and utilize personal experiences to humanize and normalize the addiction and recovery process for others. At CKF Addiction Treatment, these staff are also referred to as Recovery Coaches.
Is a peer mentor a sponsor?
No. Peer mentors are not sponsors. They are individuals who have experienced the addiction and recovery process, and can assist you as you move through treatment services and early recovery. They can navigate through community resources, and connect you to support when and where you need it.
Is a peer mentor a counselor?
No. Peer mentors are certified and trained through the Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services (KDADS) and utilize their own life experience to assist others.
What is the cost to utilize Pathfinder Recovery Center services?
All Pathfinder Recovery Center services can be accessed for free.
Can my family members also access services?
Yes! The Pathfinder Recovery Center is available to any individual, family, or community member needing information or support for addiction and recovery.
