What is Telehealth?
Telehealth allows a certified counselor or doctor to assess patients struggling with addiction. These services can be provided via phone or video conferencing while still honoring the privacy of the patient.
CKF Telehealth Addiction Treatment provides assessments, individual sessions, and daily treatment groups facilitated by a team of specialized addiction professionals.
Outpatient and Intensive Outpatient services can both be provided via telehealth options.
We also offer access to our 24/7 support and digital wellness phone application, myStrength.
What are the Benefits?
Access to Care
For patients who are located in rural or medically underserved areas with limited access to clinical specialty care, telehealth provides linkage to much-needed care.
CKF Addiction Treatment is able to provide patients with direct access to a highly specialized team of addiction professionals, delivering individualized care to patients safely and securely.
Increased access to health and care through technology means that we are able to quickly assess and diagnose symptoms and complications.
In addition, early detection of addiction health issues may lead to better overall health of the patient, reduction in acute care/hospitalizations, and positive patient health outcomes.
Telehealth can reduce the cost of health and care and increase efficiency through better care coordination, and overall management of the complex and chronic disease of addiction.
myStrength Phone Application
myStrength is an addiction recovery support available on demand through a mobile device. Peer support is an important part of a successful recovery and through myStrength, patients can access counselors and peers to provide them support as needed.
Those in recovery answer surveys about how they are feeling and based on those results, support is customized to help those suffering from addiction receive support and even receive motivation reminders (photos of family, texts, etc.).
This innovative app is another way to help those in recovery stay on the road to sobriety.
Telemedicine for Suboxone
Suboxone is a medication used to treat opioid addiction. Through a structured program, opioid addiction can be treated even through telemedicine as a nurse coordinates with our qualified medical provider for treatment.
